Yangarra Vintage Port
Dating back to the early 1980s this French oak cask nurtured port for over 30 years until it was selected for the task of finishing a special vintage shiraz.
The nose is apricot pie, malt toffees, nuts and stewed fruit in the beginning. The whisky slowly drifts towards orange blossom with a dark, rich golden syrup laced with raisins and heavy barrel char. The palate is delicate and soft, creamy fruits, spice and oak lead the charge with a savoury transition to aniseed and dark chocolate coffee beans. A beautiful viscosity and huge length with a drying finish.
